Everett Wess is a resident of Jefferson County. Everett attended Selma University Jr. College and received a degree in Music Education. Everett attended Alabama A&M University where he received a degree in Computer Science/Mathematics, B.S. Everett also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Alabama A&M University. Everett attended the Birmingham School of Law and received his law degree.
Judge Everett Wess is the managing partner of the Wess Law Firm, P.C. for the last 23 years. Everett is the Municipal Judge for the City of Midfield. Everett previously worked as a prosecutor for the City of Midfield. Everett is the Public Defender for the City of Irondale. Everett has worked in Federal, State, and Municipal Courts. Everett has also been appointed as a Special Circuit Court and District Court Judge in Jefferson County. Everett has worked on thousands of case throughout his career at the trial and appellate level. This experience coupled with his even temperament and desire for justice, give him the qualities to make a great Judge of Probate.
Evertt has a history of serving the community of Jefferson County through organizations such as the New South Coalition, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Prince Hall Masons, etc. I have supported programs such as career day at various Birmingham City Schools, Shoes for Kids, feeding the homeless, Jimmie Hale Mission, NAACP. I am serving on boards for at risk children, Childhaven, Inc. and Legacy Works Inc.
